We are pleased to announce that Izame Zabantu Nature Helpers has been absorbed into The Litterboom Project, an established environmental NGO dedicated to removing plastic waste from beaches and rivers.
This move will ensure that Izame team members can work more frequently and remove even more plastic litter from the Black River mouth and Paarden Eiland beach.
The Litterboom project is a nationwide initiative with many years of experience and an impressive track record. Cameron Service, CEO The Litterboom Project said: “We’re honored that Izame has chosen to entrust their hard-working team and the responsibility of growing exponentially and nurturing relationships with their partners and supporters in order to keep Cape Town the South African jewel that it is.”
